4: Checkpoint - Paragraphs
"WIU Copyrighted Material Removed at
Their Request"
Thesis: Employers are violating employees' privacy beyond what is
necessary to protect the company.
My supporting paragraphs will include a number of elements. I
will use examples of employers going too far in their monitoring.
I will then provide an analysis of why the monitoring was too
invasive. Finally, where applicable, I will demonstrate how the
privacy issue can be mitigated; probably by comparing to another
company which accomplished the same goal without the privacy
concerns.
The examples and analysis will demonstrate that employers are violating
employees' privacy. I will then proceed to demonstrate that
either the employer does not need this information or the situation can
be mitigated to an acceptable level.
