APA has a number of advantages in
its citation style for academic
papers. One of the biggest advantages, for me, is the use of
parenthetical citation; as opposed to the footnote citation style of
Turabian. Another advantage with APA is that it is fairly similar
to MLA, which is what I used for all previous papers. The biggest
challenge of APA formatting is that is a new format for me, and thus I
need to learn the differences between MLA citation and APA citation.
