The key to not plagiarizing is to make sure that you properly cite your source.  There are a number of tutorials on the Internet to help with citation, as well as resources from WIU.  Furthermore, it is always best to have the reference's format manual nearby so that you can quickly consult it for clarification.  For example, I checked out, from the city library, the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association to make absolutely certain I cite all of my sources correctly in the APA format.
