Week 6: Discussion Question 2

I am more receptive to claims that only attempt to represent some of the cases.  While there are exceptions, it is usually through an appeal to a small subset that the argument is more believable.  Furthermore, it is more effective for me to apply an appeal to some than discounting the argument because the author appealed to all.  Finally, I view an attempt to appeal to all cases as a more of a marketing ploy and typically laced with a large amount of hubris.
