Week 2: Assignment - Business Solutions
Some errors were made here. Apparently never address a letter to
"To Whom it May Concern" also I didn't use a prpoper format for the
letter. Pay extra close attention to the formats in the book.

To Whom it May Concern:
Recently I opened an account at Real Good Bank. I received a
personal recommendation from a dear friend who has banked with your
establishment for several years. This recommendation carried
quite a bit of weight with it, but I still reviewed information about
your company and compared your services with that of other local area
banks. I was highly impressed by the initial offer to waive
service fees, and provide the first box of checks when opening a new
checking account. Your interest rates are slightly higher than
average and your commitment to quality service was evident in every
piece of information I considered. Until today I had been highly
satisfied with the level of service I have received both when coming
into your bank, banking online, and when I have called regarding
questions.
Today, however, I received my monthly statement which showed that I had
been charged $40 for the box of checks that I ordered upon opening my
checking account. This oversight has me concerned for several
reasons. Primarily, it concerns me that my account could
have been set up wrong, and I will not be getting the agreed upon
interest rates as discussed with Mr. Accountant at the initiation of my
account. Furthermore, had I not had the $40 extra available to be
withdrawn, checks would have bounced, and I would be responsible for
the fees that would result from the shortfall of available funds.
I have further concerns, that I can expect other fees to appear,
because I believe my account has not been correctly set up within your
system.
Please contact me at your first convenience to let me know the
resolution to this issue. I would also like to discuss the fears
I have regarding my account being incorrectly set up instead of
according to the pre-agreed upon promotion. I am happy to provide
any information or insight to this situation to bring about a quick
resolution.
Once again, just from my few dealings with Real Good Bank, I am sure
that this problem will be resolved. Your bank provides a number
of services that were simply unmatched by your local competitors.
I have come to expect the highest level of service and I have yet to be
disappointed.
Sincerest Regards,
Erik Smith
