Week 4: Discussion Question 2
Grade: 15/15 (When combined with other DQ)
Professor: Katherine Downey
Aristotle's tiered class system was, to some degree, implemented in
feudalism. The class architecture ultimately exploits the lower
classes for personal gain. A modern manifestation of this is the
use of illegal immigrants as laborers. The illegal immigrants can
be taken advantage of because they have no legal rights, protection,
nor voice. Thus a non-egalitarian system will inherently exploit
the lower classes, and prove to be an invalid form of government.
